I’m a mother of 3 and wife of an ultra runner. I took up running casually two years ago and during my recent pregnancy completed six half marathons and over 300 pregnancy miles, while carrying our most recent addition, Noah, who is now 2 months old. I never considered myself a runner before but now my husband and I do our best to set the example for our kids of maintaining an active lifestyle and fueling our bodies properly. When I’m not running I am likely in the kitchen cooking or homeschooling our kids. During the recent Covid-19 restrictions in our state my husband and I took our running on seriously despite cancelled races. It’s pushed me to realize I am not driven by metals or PRs but by the love of connecting with my body and recognizing it’s limitless potential.
