I am an avid runner who loves being outside, long runs with friends, and real food! I began running in 2016 as a way to get into shape physically and emotionally. As a working mom and wife, I knew I needed to get active and fit to be the best version of me for my family. Little did I know it would become such an integral part of who I am, and that I would grow to love the sport and community it provides. I began with a Couch to 5K on my treadmill, lost over 80 pounds but the bigger gift was that I discovered the joy of running, that was made even bigger by the enthusiasm and energy of races! It is so inspiring to see all different levels out there with everyone encouraging each other! I love setting goals and running races have helped me achieve many including countless 5K and 10Ks, 37 half marathons, 6 full marathons, and my first 50K! Beyond running, I love adventures with my husband and two kids, hiking, mountain biking, water sports and inside I am an avid crafter, love reading, and am a huge coffee nerd! As an extroverted runner, I love the energy of making new friends and finding other people that are part of the running community that are equally passionate about the fun and excitement!
