I'm a former golfer/soccer player turned runner. I started my running journey by signing up for my first half marathon while recovering from a second hip surgery. I've found a love for running that I never thought I would have (I was the kid who hated running just to run). Running has encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone, travel the country, and make new friends that I otherwise wouldn't have. My favorite thing is to travel to a new place and run because running is the best way to explore. Two hip surgeries, a couple of knee injuries, and almost 4 years later, I've run 10 half marathons and 3 full marathons and am already looking forward to being able to run races again in 2021 (hopefully!).
