I am an avid outdoors woman. I have been working in the outdoors for the past three years, and usually with disadvantaged groups. I have taught adaptive skiing, working at outdoor education camps, guided backpacking, and currently work at a therapeutic boarding school with an outdoor education focus. In addition to working in the outdoors, I work with people with disabilities - both inside and outside. Finally, I recreate outside in many different capacities - hiking, biking, trail running, climbing, skiing, and more. I love exploring nature in different ways, and challenging myself in different ways. Closely following my love of the outdoors, is my love of food. I grew up composting, with my own veggie garden, and love cooking and baking. After hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, I began to better understand the importance of quality nutrition when spending ample time outdoors. I eat so I can exercise and I exercise so I can eat. I genuinely love shopping for food.
