Endurance athlete (gravel cycling) and bariatric athlete from PA. I’m an existing Picky Club member and use Picky as a part of my training nutrition. In the past 2 years I lost 150 pounds and am out to show the world what bariatric athletes can do in the world of endurance racing. I’m an enthusiastic representative of fitness and have a fun take on competition, riding with my sidekicks from @catsvspickles and bringing fun and personality to things, whether a race or a group ride (if they ever happen again!). I already recommend Picky regularly to other bariatric athletes, bariatric patients, and other riders so whether I’m BADASS enough or not, I’m already in your corner. My race calendar, when it happens, is national. In the real world, I’m a Professor at Temple University and teach subjects like economic development, community development, and social justice. Smooth Caffeinator is my favorite, but I’m excited about the new flavor and also make overnight oats from the Picky Oats. I used to be an industry racer in the 1990s so I know what it takes to be a great representative and how “stoke” beats race results when interacting at events. I’d love to join the team.
